your code here helped me find a solution to stop opacity inheritance across browsers but it did not work in ie7,I finally found a way to do it that you can see here:
the main container is normally centered but is not at this address in ie because of the yahoo ads on the right.I am very new to css and my code is not well written,i haven’t had the time to even read a book about css yet.This works on ie7 , ie6 and mozila 3.Don’t know about mozilla 2 or safari yet.
